Dental Clinic Manager

Job Duties:
The position of Dental Clinical Manager is mainly responsible to direct, supervise and evaluate all company personnel, including dental and technical personnel, in order to ensure that they execute their duties efficiently and in line with the company's objectives. The Dental Clinical Manager monitors the use of diagnostic services, dental facilities and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and services. He is responsible for the planning, implementation and administration of programs and services in a dental facility, including personnel administration, training, and coordination of dental, hygienist, dental assistants and other staff. He ensures that the company meets personnel requirements by directing or conducting the recruitment, hiring and training of qualified and productive personnel. He also ensures the company's competitive edge by staying on top of advances in dentistry, computerized diagnostic and treatment equipment, data processing technology, government regulations, health insurance changes, and financing options. The Dental Clinical Manager oversees operations by reviewing and analyzing facility activities and data to aid planning and cash and risk management and to improve service utilization. He develops and maintains computerized record management systems to store and process data such as personnel activities and information, and to produce reports. He also maintains communications between the president, sales staff and all personnel by attending board meetings and coordinating interdepartmental functioning. Finally, the Dental Clinical Manager establishes work schedules and assignments for staff in light of workload, space and equipment availability.
